Christmas cleaning ❤️

I'm way behind when it comes to Christmas cleaning. It's much easier to shove clutter into the rooms I know no one will enter.

A friend gave a great devotional where she talked about exactly this. About Christmas and how you're a bit more stressed about getting your house clean. But then she said, have you taken Christmas cleaning to heart?

It hit me.

We also have many rooms in our hearts, she says, where we collect and save things, where we push clutter under the carpet, where we leave some rooms locked so that others can't get to them.

Where we have monsters under the sofa that we don't want anyone to see and where we might have some treasures that should have been found.

Let a house be a house.

Spend your days washing and cleaning your heart. Sort and wash away what shouldn't be there. Tidy up, and finally, let it shine and decorate it with the most beautiful Christmas decorations.
